I’ve really warmed up to Jekyll, I get to use some of my favorite tools, vim, git, markdown isstead of having to learn a blogging UI, and I get to have full control over my content, even with effortless backup, without the friction of database and admin stuff.
Nothing like seeing a whole ton of bonus reasons it makes sense, even if it doesn’t apply too much to lil ole me. It does make sense that static content is pretty optimal when you can get away with it, but here are the devils in the details.
